Members proposed that the society improve the return to farmers by establishing a milk processing plant.

Consequently, members were to contribute towards this project. So far Kshs. 15 million have been contributed towards this project

The board and management is in the process looking for further funding so as to bring to fruition this very important project

Once complete, the livelihoods of farmers and their families will improve significantly.

A better milk pay will encourage other milk farmers from the region to enroll as members. Neighbouring societies will also be enticed to use the processing plant for their milk.

This will further increase profitability for the society, which will be passed to farmers.
